We’re building something new for readers: a book tracking website that puts you in control. If you’ve ever wished you could organise your books with your own custom tags, or keep parts of your library private, you’re not alone. That’s exactly why we’re developing BookBound—a modern, reader-friendly platform designed for people who want to track, share, and discover books on their own terms.
Why We’re Creating BookBound
Current book-tracking platforms are useful but often limiting: rigid categories, few organisation options, and an all-or-nothing approach to privacy. BookBound is still in its early stages, but our goal is to change that by building a flexible, privacy-focused cataloguing tool.
What We’re Working On
- Custom tags for books so you can create your own system (think “summer beach reads” or “fantasy with strong female leads”)
- Privacy controls so you decide what’s public, what’s private, and what’s shared with friends
- A clean, modern design that makes tracking your reading enjoyable
- A community option, so you can connect with other readers—or keep your library completely personal
We’re still shaping BookBound, but the idea is simple: make reading more enjoyable, personal, and flexible.
